One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when I helped a child overcome their fear of swimming. I use to be a life guard so I have experience under my belt. We spent several weeks practicing and building confidence in the water. The day they finally swam across the pool on their own, the look of pure joy and accomplishment on their face was priceless. It was a beautiful reminder of how impactful patience and encouragement can be.
