Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Growing up I enjoyed being the neighborhoods babysitter. In my early teens I would routinely watch a new born set of twins and their older toddler sister. I loved hearing from family's that I was the only person outside of the family who could get the kids to sleep.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Love everything outdoor, going to parks, bike rides, games in the backyard! Its always a blast to have a dance party and get some chores done. I personally love everything crafty so i can always find something for us to do or make.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Something I never thought about at the time but now looking back,
I truly loved about being a nanny, would have to be being there for people. I was so happy to hear families tell me I was the only person outside of the family who could get the kids down, or that the shy kids loved me. I love being there for the families and also creating connections with kids. I've found that sometimes I can be a shy person but kids help bring out the outgoingness in me and remind me its okay to just have a blast!

My experience with special needs children...
I also have my own experiences with special needs children, growing up in a house with my little brother with autism, inspired a love for the special needs community! In high school and middle school one of my favorite things I did was be an aide in our special education classes. I had made many friends there but had a particularly proud moment when the mostly non-verbal girl that i had been working with, counted to 100 for the first time after we had been working on it together.
