More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a day care in the infant room (ages 0-8 months) but often jumped around to help with other classrooms. Worked in the toddler rooms and the school age rooms as well. While in my primary classroom I was in charge of keeping 5-8 infants on a schedule with naps, diaper changes, and eating. I also logged that all in on a computer to keep the parents updated. I had a great time watching the little ones grow and become smart, engaging toddlers. Outside of my job, I tutored grades 3rd-5th while in school. With older children, I was a camp counselor for ages 8-14. There we encouraged creativity and a love for the outdoors.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to be creative and encourage the kid’s imagination; ex. arts and crafts, fort building, science experiments. I am very active as well so walks, going to the park, library, etc. would be fun for both me and the kids. I’m just looking for a family for the summer I can leave a positive and fun impact on!
