More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the past five years, I've gained extensive experience in babysitting, nurturing my skills in child care. Last summer, I dedicated my time to nannying, which deepened my understanding and love for this work. I've always focused on creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for the kids I look after, ensuring they have fun while learning and growing in a supportive setting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love mixing up indoor and outdoor activities to keep things fun and engaging. Outdoors, we might go on nature walks, play in the park, or go on bike rides. Indoors, we get creative with arts and crafts, have story time, or build forts. It's all about balancing active play with quieter, educational moments to keep the kids entertained and learning.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny, in my experience, is building a trusting and loving relationship with the children. It's all about providing a safe and nurturing environment where they feel valued and supported. This foundation allows them to explore their interests, develop their skills, and grow in confidence. Being a positive and consistent presence in their lives can make a significant impact, which is both a privilege and a responsibility.
My experience with special needs children...
I've had the rewarding opportunity to work with special needs kids through a program called Inspire Sports. On Saturdays, for three hours, we engage in various sports activities designed to be inclusive and supportive. This program not only helps them stay active but also boosts their confidence and social skills in a fun, encouraging environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my all time favorite nanny moments happened during a rainy day when we decided to have an indoor picnic. We spread out a blanket, made sandwiches, and pretended we were in a sunny park. The kids loved the idea of turning a gloomy day into something special and fun. Their laughter and imaginative stories made it a magical experience that I'll always treasure.
