Hi! My name is Ava and I work full time right now as a NICU Nurse or Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. I have also worked as a Postpartum Nurse. Given the fact that I work with newborns every day, I have grown to be very comfortable and confident with taking care of them. The parents always think I have children of my own, which I do not. :D However, I also have experience with taking care of children of all age groups. I am certified in CPR for adults and children, and I am also certified for neonatal resuscitation. I am 26 years old and I love spending time outside, going on walks, doing crafts, and snuggling my miniature dachshund Fran-my profile picture is of us at a costume contest! I believe kids bring out the best in people. I enjoy being a fun role model and companion to the older kids and will always adhere to the rules you have set in place for your family. This can take time, you have to see with your own eyes that I am reliable, responsible, caring, all of the things. I think when this moment is reached it is so rewarding and then it feels like you’re a member of the family rather than a paid employee.
