More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I have cared for children includes working as a nanny for the same family for the past three summers, where I helped with daily routines, planned activities, prepared meals, and supervised play.
I have also worked at a daycare, caring for and supervising children while helping with structured activities, playtime, and daily routines.
In addition, I have been a gymnastics coach since I was 14, teaching and supervising children of various ages while helping them build confidence, coordination, and teamwork.
Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in patience, communication, creativity, and creating a safe, fun environment for kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include a variety of creative, active, and learning-based activities. I love doing arts and crafts projects, building things, coloring, and coming up with fun, creative games.
I also enjoy spending time outside with kids, whether that’s going to the park, playing sports, swimming, riding bikes, going on walks, or planning outdoor games.
Because I have been a gymnastics coach for many years, I also enjoy doing active play with kids and helping them build confidence in movement through fun challenges, obstacle courses, and games. I love encouraging kids to stay active while making sure they are having fun.
I also enjoy quieter activities like reading books together, playing board games, doing puzzles, baking simple treats, and helping with homework or summer learning activities. I create a balance of fun and structure so kids stay engaged, creative, and active throughout the day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children feel cared for and encouraged to be themselves. I truly enjoy building relationships with the kids I work with and helping them learn, grow, and gain confidence.
My biggest goal in life is to be a mom one day, so being a nanny is something that is very meaningful to me and something I take seriously. I love being able to play a small role in a child’s development and create positive, lasting memories.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes working with children who require additional support in communication, behavior, and learning. Through my experience as a gymnastics coach, nanny, and working in a daycare setting, I have worked with children with a variety of needs and abilities. These experiences have helped me develop patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills while creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
I enjoy helping children build confidence, develop skills at their own pace, and feel comfortable in activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are when I get to see kids feel proud of themselves after trying something new. Whether it’s learning a new skill, finishing a craft they worked hard on, or gaining confidence during a game or activity, I love being able to support and encourage them along the way.
It has been super rewarding to build strong relationships with the kids and create fun memories together throughout the summer.

Hello! I am a massage therapist who’s going back to college in the fall as an ethics in policy major. I am energetic and friendly and love working with children. I would love to plan activities that are both outdoor and educational. I love to stay active and curious and think children thrive from that too. I used to work at a daycare and preschool as a teacher where I would come up with educational plans and activities and structure the day for 3 years and I have been babysitting for about 10 years now. I am excited to start and hope to hear from you soon! Hope you have a lovely day.
Part-Time Nanny Available in La Crosse, WI: Mari L.
My name is Mari Last and I am 19 years old. I am currently a sophomore at UW La Crosse. I have a 15-year-old sister who I have babysat many times since she was about 6-7 years old. I used to babysit for family friends who had 3 children (4 years old, 8 years old, and 12 years old). Over the past two summers, I nannied three boys ages 4, 10, and 12, and three girls, ages 9, 10, and 13. During the [phone number hidden] school year, I was an after-school babysitter for 2 children ages 9 and 10, driving them to their daily activities and helping them with homework. I also take plenty of odd babysitting jobs here and there, and volunteered in the nursery at my church caring for infants-2 years. I am a straight-A student and know how to react in an emergency if one were to occur. I do not have a car with me here at school but am always willing to drive a family car if needed. I am always up for fun new games and playing outside, and overall just love kids and helping out busy families!
