Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve babysat since I was around 12 years old. I have a range of experience from kids age 16 to new borns. I was a nanny for a family of 4 for a year before going to college. I also was a nanny the past year before moving to Texas for another family of 4 ( ages 16, 13, 9, and 1). I took a babysitter training course a couple of years ago which taught CPR, infant care, and all the things you need to know before watching kids. I was a full time nanny this past year for a 1 year old and also 3 older grade school kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading, getting outside, taking walks, and playing at the park. Pretty much anything that has to do with kids and what makes them happy I enjoy as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is engaging and building a genuine connection with the kids. Learning what they like to do and helping them grow and learn as they grown. You want them to trust you, feel comfortable with you, and most importantly have fun with you!
