I’ve spent several years caring for children of different ages through both professional nannying and babysitting. In addition to a year of nanny experience, I’ve regularly cared for my older sister’s four children since they were infants, as well as the children of family friends. My responsibilities have included bottle feeding, diaper changes, preparing meals and snacks, putting children down for naps, helping with bedtime routines, engaging in educational and creative activities, and keeping them safe and entertained throughout the day. I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun! Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading books, playing outside, going on walks, building forts, baking simple treats together, playing board games and puzzles, doing age-appropriate sensory activities, and coming up with fun learning games. I also enjoy taking kids to parks, libraries, the zoo, museums, or other local activities with parents’ permission. My goal is always to create a safe, positive, and fun environment where children can learn, explore, and enjoy their day.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Building a strong relationship with both the children and their parents is so important. I strive to be someone families can rely on while encouraging children’s growth, independence, and confidence through patience, kindness, and consistency. Knowing that I’m making a positive impact on a child’s life is the most rewarding part of being a nanny.
