A little bit about me

Hello my name is Ava Pomeroy and I am looking to be a part time nanny during the summer before I go to college! I am first-aid trained and CPR certified as I was a lifeguard at the YMCA. I love children and would love to help a family out with taking care of them. I want to have a great experience and the kids to have a great experience as well. I had an amazing babysitter growing up and I still love her to this day and hope I can make that same impact on the kids I nanny for. I do have my drivers license and have my own car so transportation would not be an issue and I want to have fun with the kids, get them active, and have a great summer!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have always babysat for family members and family friends but never for an outside family. I was a lifeguard at the YMCA so I was in charge of looking after many children and making sure to keep them safe.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I would love to do any activities indoor or outdoor. I love board games and card games and when the weather allows I love swimming and playing all kinds of sports.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is number one to keep the kids safe and number two is to have fun. I know from personal experience it is not always easy to not have your parents around but if the person that is around makes it fun and comfortable it definitely helps.

My experience with special needs children...

I have grown up with two cousins one with autism and one with diabetes so I have had hands on experience with both of these and know how to handle it.
