I absolutely love kids as I am currently pursuing an Early Childhood Education major as a junior at NMSU. I have babysat all my life and just started working at a daycare a couple years ago. I have always been very a passionate about children and have always dreamed of finally becoming a teacher one day. I have worked with a large diversity of ages, 2months-12 years old. I also have worked for families with up to 4 kids so I have a very diverse range. I always want the kids to have fun by choosing activities that help them learn and grow.

I usually work as an assistant teacher at a preschool in my hometown but would like to start staying in Las Cruces over the summers and finding work here. I work very closely and one on one with kids using what I am learning in school constantly and really helping each child to grow in each domain. I like to create a trusting relationship with the child and family. I also have experience in both babysitting and nannying as I have done both for many years.

I love to doing anything artistic. I like to bring out the child creative side staying away from just watching movies. I like to create fun’s activity and games where the child can express themselves. I also enjoy building, I think this is such a strong educational concept for children as they really work on so many things such as fine motor and creativity.
