A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Bailey, a 3rd year student pursuing architecture at the U of U, looking for a PT to FT position this summer, possibly into fall/winter.
My qualifications: I ski instruct at Brighton, primarily teaching kids & I have been BLS certified. I have extensive sitter experience (neighbors, family friends & even my church pastor’s 4 kids). I also volunteered for “kids church” for 3 years for the infants & the 1st-3rd graders.
I really love children and they tend to love me. I am very responsible, respectful and morally grounded. I have strong family values and I come from a stable family and loving home. I grew up with lots of cousins. Year round, we were always outdoors. I love to be active and backyard camp, swim, fish, play games, hike, do arts and crafts, music, make up plays, explore and read books...
In all, I am a great choice for your child’s overall well-being and your peace of mind. If mutually beneficial, we can also discuss continuing the arrangement into the school year.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked at Brighton Ski resort as a ski instructor the past two winters. I also have a lot of babysitting experience. I also spent three years teaching Sunday school at my church to kindergarten and first graders as well as frequently helping with the infants. Like I stated in my about me section, I have a lot of cousins. I am one of the eldest of the group so I have grown up helping care for and babysitting the younger ones.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is being able to fit in well with the family I care for. I aim to be someone who relieves some of the responsibility and stress of every day life without getting in the way of the relationship between parents and children. I believe it is important as a nanny to bring a sense of joy and relief to the home that I become a part of.

My experience with special needs children...

I have taught a few special needs children how to ski before but that is the most experience I have working with special needs children. I am very patient and understanding though and have no reservation when it comes to working with them. I have ADD so I have a lot more understanding and grace than the average person would.

Emma C. - Seeking Work in Salt Lake City

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Salt Lake City, UT: Emma C.

Hi, I'm Emma!
I recently moved to SLC! I love spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun, and caring environment where they can learn, play, and thrive. I have lots of little ones in my family, so I've been caring for children from an early age and am comfortable with infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids. My mom is going into her 19th year of teaching elementary, so I've been around to help in the classroom for as long as I can remember! I began babysitting in 9th grade and gained experience working with a babysitting company in Phoenix, Arizona about 4 years ago, totaling in about 8 years of paid childcare.
I'm patient, dependable, and creative. I enjoy arts and crafts and educational, engaging activities. I'm CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and am happy to help with light meal prep, housekeeping, carpooling, and pets. My goal is to make your child feel happy and supported while giving you peace of mind.
I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family!
