A little bit about me

Hello! I am looking for a job that allows me to develop a strong connection with the children I watch and their parents! I love flexibility and the chance to take the kids out and about (go to the park, movies, parades, etc.) I want to create the most of my time with them and make sure they are experiencing new and exciting things! Working with kids is a very rewarding job, being able to support, encourage and protect them is an amazing thing!

I'd say I am compassionate, trustworthy, patient, creative, and supportive! In my spare time, I like to read or do anything creative. I also love spending time outside in the summer, going to concerts, plays, or any type of local events!

I love animals and caring for them if needed! However, there are unfortunately some breeds that affect my allergies negatively and I cannot be around them for long. This does typically apply more to dogs :(. I would love to meet any animals in the home and see how I react to them though!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been babysitting for around 8 years and have plenty of experience working with children of all ages! I also have worked at a daycare before where I was able to expand on my skills and work with more age groups!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depending on the age of the children and the comfort of their parents, I enjoy going to local places such as museums, launchPAD, parks, the pool, bowling, mini golf, etc. I also love going to events such as art splash, parades, or library story time events! Some examples of activities at the home are building blanket forts, doing puzzles, playing hide and seek, helping to build on educational skills, and utilizing any outdoor equipment that is already there (swing sets, trampolines, sprinklers or slip and slides, etc.)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I find the most important part about being a nanny is being able to help children grow! Providing them with care, helping them learn, and giving them a safe environment all while creating enjoyable memories along the way is such a rewarding experience!

I unfortunately do not have any experience working with special needs children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say that my favorite moment has to be going to a local concert for one of the child's favorite bands! It allowed me to create an amazing memory for her and also helped us bond even more, creating a much stronger relationship as a caregiver for her!
