I have four grandchildren from the age of 5 to 10 years old. I love spending time with them!
I’ve also taken care of them quite often. I also raised three boys and when I was working, I always wished I had someone that could just fill in the gap after school until I could get home. I gave up my career and stayed home with the boys instead. I have three sons two daughter-in-law’s and one future daughter-in-law. I also take care of my grand dogs on occasion.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m artistic so I love to draw , color , chalk . There are some games that my grandkids like , memory games and we also like to just sit around and discuss our day they love to share and I love to listen we have a lot of good laughs
I love art and I feel this is a really good outlet for kids. Reading is also something I enjoy. And I love being outside .
I bike ride., and when my grandkids are here, they love hanging out down at the park as I do too. I also like to have special snacks with my grandkids .

My experience with special needs children...
I have not had a lot of experience a special needs children. I do have a friend that’s in a wheelchair. And she also has a special bike. We usually have to watch out for her blood sugar dropping. So I’ve had a little experience with that. I’ve been around diabetics, but I have not ever administered insulin . I have been around high functioning children who are now adult adults. One of my best friends daughter is high functioning, but cannot be left alone for very long. And she does work. And I’ve known steph since she was 10 and now she is a grown adult, but she still lives at home with her parents.
