Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I took 3 separate internships throughout high school and the one semester of college I attended, all of which included being a middle school teachers assistant. Two were with English teachers and the third with a physical education teacher that also involved working with the special needs students. I worked with students from 6th to 8th grade of all abilities throughout these internships and I loved every minute of it!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Whether it's taking them to the park, going on a walk, or playing in the backyard I love being outdoors! I also love educational activities, I have a strong value for education and it's importance to children of all ages.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with special needs students of 6th to 8th grade ages with many different special needs which involved the four categories of physical, sensory, developmental and behavioral. I also grew up with my younger brother having autism. I have a great understanding of how to attend to each child based on their specific needs and abilities.
