My experience with special needs children...
I have only cared for children with ADHD. However, I would feel very comfortable with the family letting me know what i need to do for that kid, if there’s any certain food they can or can’t have, certain clothes they can or can’t wear, and if theres any emergencies, what can i do for them to help? I am very helpful and calm so I know I will be able to work with a special needs child, though it would make me feel way better if the family gave me some pointers about them because all kids are different.
