Our home is nestled just north of Rose Crossing and Whitefish Stage Rd and provides a serene 20-acre environment that also serves as a natural habitat for foxes, owls, and pheasants. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Activities Coordinator for youth programs and camps for an exclusive club. Background as a professional nanny, infant care specialist and night newborn nanny. Mama to two boys, age 4 ( in school) and age 11 months.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor Exploration: I have a large emphasis on outdoor play and exploration, this applies for rain or shine days. Using nature to develop spacial awareness while increasing their senses and imagination.

The Arts: making music with items outside, or playing music indoors such as Vivaldi, Raffi, and occasionally Taylor Swift ;) Painting with non toxic colors, and associating colors with items around the yard or inside of home.

Imaginative Play: Who doesn’t love a good fort? Tunnels, and tents with stuffed animals is always a good time. Indoor and outdoor kitchen, hone in on those culinary skills. An outdoor sandbox with various toys, and what doesn’t simulate a beach vacation then a dual child size cabana ( grapes included).

With each day’s theme, parents will be updated with photos, video clips, and a summary of their child’s food, nap, and potty schedule.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being a joy to the child and the family, there will be hard days, but finding the positivity and humor in each moment will make the experience all the richer.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a professional nanny for an 8 year old girl who was nonverbal and could only minimally communicate with sign language. She was often times combative as she had extreme difficulties communicating. I was able to form a very close bond with her for that year, and saw significant improvement in her communication skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Was naming our son’s middle name after my nanny family. There are too many happy moments to convey, but naming our son’s middle name should emphasize how close we all became.
