The most important part of providing care is to engage the client in a way that works for them and suits them. Each person is unique and I like to focus on the things that the kiddo enjoys doing and also where they are struggling. I believe movement and fun are the utmost importance!

My experience with special needs children...

I have done respite care for one client for about 10 years. I have experience with people with autism, cerebral palsy, and down syndrome. I haven't worked with a feeding tube in a while, but I'm happy to learn any specifics that might be needed.
