More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I babysat all throughout high school, working mostly with kids under eight (babies included.) To a lesser extent, I've "petsat" for dogs and cats. I also worked for two years at an after shool/summer program for elementary school students, where I gained experience with special needs kids of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading and doing art projects with kids. However, I'm open to any activity! All kids are different, so I understand I've gotta be prepared for all types of play.

My experience with special needs children...
in a previous job, I worked two summers in a special needs programs at Parks and Recreation. Workers were partnered up with a specific kid for the summer who they'd spend time with at parks and pools. I was summered with a nine year old autistic girl who was quiet and loved dancing, as well as a six year old autistic boy who was talkative and playful.

The most important part about being a nanny...
not quite a nanny moment, but while visiting my little cousin, he decided he wanted to play battleship. about five or ten minutes into the game, he realized he was losing and got so sad that he hid under a blanket into the couch. despite me being the one who was winning against him, he still wanted me to hold his hand as comfort. It was very adorable 🩷
