My mother is a preschool teacher and I would always help her with the after school program. I dealt with kids 3-5 years old and participate in many make believe battles and nap time.

I enjoy any activity. I usually let the kids take the reins when it comes to choosing what to do but I always try to make sure it’s not just screen time. I think it’s best for kids to do something like playing outside or crafting so that way they are getting exercise or using their brain.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe environment for the kids. You have to encourage their interest whether it’s nerf guns wars, crafting, or building so they can become who they are.
