I have several years of hands-on childcare experience working with children across a wide range of ages. I’ve served as a camp counselor for two consecutive summers, where I was responsible for supervising, engaging, and caring for groups of children while creating a fun, safe, and structured environment. In addition, I’ve worked as a nanny for children ranging from 4 months old through 5 years old, and I’ve also babysat children from infancy through early teens (4 months to 13 years old). Through these experiences, I’ve become confident in supporting age-appropriate development, managing routines, and building positive, trusting relationships with both children and families.

I love keeping children engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, learning, and movement. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include visiting seasonal festivals, attending library reading times, spending time at local parks and community spaces, and enjoying fun outings like Chick-fil-A lunches with playtime. I also love getting creative at home — playing Barbies, building with LEGOs, doing crafts, imaginative play, and finding little ways to make everyday moments fun and memorable.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel secure and supported. Building trust with both the child and the family is essential, and I believe being patient, attentive, and fully present helps children thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. A nanny plays a meaningful role in a child’s daily life, and I take that responsibility seriously by showing up with care, reliability, and intention every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was caring for a little girl from the time she was 6 months old until she turned 3. Being part of her life during such important developmental years was incredibly special. Watching her grow, learn, and develop her personality was so rewarding, but my favorite moment of all was when she said my name for the first time. It was such a simple moment, but one I’ll never forget. She will always hold a special place in my heart and be a part of my life.
