Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love arts and crafts! If given the chance, I can color and create all day long! I believe that when children just let their imagination and creativity flow freely they are genuinely happier☺️. I enjoy softball/baseball activities, although I don’t play anymore I still enjoy having a game of catch. I am also a big waterbug, so playing around sprinklers and pools will always be a fun time!
My experience with special needs children...
I have an autistic cousin and have tutored and watched him for his parents since he was around 2 years old. He was basically nonverbal until he was around 8-9 years old. He is honestly the reason why I am eager to get my degree. He has helped me understand how to care, communicate, and understand how he feels and thinks in his own ways that wouldn't make sense to most people. I can honestly say that me and him are the best of friends and he would agree😊
