Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My mom has owned her own in home daycare since 2001, I have grown up watching her care for children and helping her care for children. I have worked at a daycare in Casco, Wisconsin for the last two years caring for children as young as 6 months to age 11. I also tutored in an early childhood classroom for 1 year. I also have done one full year of practicum teaching. I am licensed by the Wisconsin Registry as a childcare worker for ages 0-11.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I usually base my activities on the age of the child, but things that I enjoy with all ages are watching movies, doing arts and crafts, and taking them on walks.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked as a teaching assistant for 1 year where I dealt with nonverbal-autistic children, children with Down syndrome, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
