Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I interned at Sereals Elementary school in Union City Ca, for about a month where I was in an English for future teachers class my senior year at James Logan high school. I also help take care of my little cousins, nieces, and nephews ranging from 2 months- 13 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing anything artsy and creative. I also enjoy baking, I find that they have fun with the decorating. I also play softball and used to play basketball and I love doing outdoor active things with the kids. Of course the indoor games like hide and seek or board games are always fun as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I have twin cousins who are autistic and have helped care for them since they were babies. I would say that I am very patient with them and know how to talk to them.
