Hello, my name is Isabella Sanchez, love to be called Bella. I currently am finishing my last semester of my undergrad in Child Development at Cal State San Marcos (all courses online) in hopes of becoming a teacher. I will be continuing school for my teaching credentials meaning I will be available to nannying for a few more years, and can make my schedule flexible to fit the needs of any family. I am a Christian and adore children. I am extremely close to my family and friends, I love to travel, workout, cooking, bake, and I have a small charcuterie business as well. I can read, help with homework, do housework, change diapers; whatever is asked of from the family, I can do. I hope to find a fun loving family to care for with children of any ages. :)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied for a family in Newport Beach, as well as an after school instructor at the La Habra Community Center for a year. I also have in total 6 nieces and nephews under the age of 4 that I have cared for over various periods of time. I have worked with all ages ranging from 5 months- 14 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading, playing music, doing arts and crafts, cooking with children. I try to limit the amount of screen time a child gets so they are able to focus on other things to get their brains going. Overall my main objective when I am caring for children is to do whatever the parents are comfortable with. If I am instructed by the parents to do certain things before anything else, I will make sure those tasks are done before anything else.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the parents feel they are getting the proper care their children deserve. I want the family to feel comfortable with me, as well as their children. Being honest if they feel I can do better care is very important to me and I would like that to be reciprocated in terms of me being honest when the child/ children lash out.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for a family friend with epilepsy over the years. I have taken care of her for date nights, after school care, etc. Although it might not be much time compared to other cases, I am open to learn how to properly care for a child as the parents see fit.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I was nannying for my previous family in Newport and their cousins were in town for Christmas break. I was watching 8 early teens for 4 hours with the help of a friend. We created a fun night for them all to bond and enjoy each other's company while the parents enjoyed a night out. Although I was a long night of cooking, baking, coloring, playing basketball outside, and finishing with a movie, the cherry on top was the two children of the family I nannied for both ran to my friend and I thanking us for the best night they had with their cousins. It made my heart so full knowing I was able to make it such a great night for them concluding their trip.
