A little bit about me

I love working with all people, but I really love working with children. I have been working with children in a variety of settings for over 8 years. Teaching children is my passion.Previous to working with Mental Health in my experiences, I've worked with children in numerous settings, such as babysitting, recreational center, and schools as well as their homes. I looking for extra money to help with college. I have been accepted into Southern University at New Orleans where I'm obtaining my master's degree in Social Work. I'm doing the part-time session which is 3 years, but I can work around my school schedule.

My Dreams are to become a Hospital Social Worker or a Foster Mother when I earn my MSW. Working with children has taught me to understand that children come into the world with a blank slate. The experiences, environment, adults, as well as surroundings, are what shape them into who they become. I feel our responsibility as parents and caregivers are to provide children with the best possible education, knowledge, and choices so they are able to grow to their maximum potential.
