More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in a private and non profit EL child development centers, school systems, early intervention programs, social work and currently work with the University of Kentucky teaching research based curriculums to all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depends on the age and stages of development of each child. I will work with families to what the child enjoys. With child led activities. Also encouraging skills such as reading, arts and crafts, simple cooking skills, outdoor play as well as inside play using creativity and imagination.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My experience working with children of varies age groups is getting to know them and be part of their education and development big or small. I still keep in touch with children that I watched when they were 6 weeks old and they will all be seniors next year. It’s an accomplishment to see what they have all achieved from when they were just starting solid foods and walking in my classroom.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked in Early Intervention as a social worker type position.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments working with children is when they accomplish milestones. It maybe saying their first words, taking their first steps, learning to read every milestone is something to be cherished and enjoying the wonderment and awe through a child’s perspective is always a cherished moment!
