A little bit about me

I have devoted my life to the care, nurturing, and development of children. From 2000 to 2003, I worked in the nursery and helped lead Children's Church at Vancouver First Church of God, which ignited my love for children and inspired me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry to become a Children's Pastor. While attending Mid-America Christian University, I led the Wednesday Night Children's program and co-led a group of middle-schoolers at Moore First Church of God, and I co-led youth ministry at Bristow First Church of God. After graduating in 2008, I taught Sunday School, led VBS, and directed a children's play at Scotland First Church of God, and worked in childcare at a fitness center while raising two boys of my own. From 2014 to 2018, I was the Director of Elementary Ministries at Vancouver Church, where I led weekly programming for 40-80+ children, ages K-6th grade, and led monthly family events for 150-350+ attendees. I've also led after-school YMCA classes.
