During high school I volunteered with children at Winton Place Youth Center and Sycamore Community Schools. I helped tutor them and guide them in their school work as well as school life. I have also babysat my younger cousins.

I enjoy going on walks, swimming, and going to parks with kids. Indoors, I enjoy playing different board games, watching movies, and coloring with kids.

The most important part about being a nanny is being honest and open. I believe if someone is trusting you in their home with their child, you have to be completely honest with them. It is also important to be a positive figure in their child's life since they will be spending a lot of time with you.
My experience with special needs children...
Since I was about 12 years old I have been volunteering at St. Joseph Home which is a home for people with developmental disabilities. I have taken study halls in school to help the teachers with special needs students in my class. I have also volunteered at The Children's Home of Cincinnati which is a school for students with autism. Working with people who have special needs is actually a passion I have.
