I worked in Birdville District Schools for a year with autistic students, St. Landry Parish for four years in Pre-k, tutoring, and substituting. I’m currently in Jefferson Parish Schools in Pre-k 3 but also worked in Pre-k4- 8th for 11 years. For five years, I cared for children in my home and outside.
I have two successful children, a son 31, an electrician, and daughter 30, a graphic designer.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like walking, biking, horseback riding, and swimming. I regularly go to the park, museums, bowling, movies, and botanical gardens. I like to draw, paint , and craft. Truly a kid at play with dolls, baseball, basketball, and football. Love the outdoors and creative for indoor.

is to be familiar with each other. I want to know that person so I can provide the best care for their needs. Each person is different so I need to know likes dislike, etc.

My funniest moments is when I hear one saying things or doing something I do. I have a habit of saying ooh that’s a hot mess when they spill or left an area without cleaning. One day I was busy in another area and one repeated they made a hot mess. I had to laugh. Another occasion is when I was out due to my mother passing. I had several said on my return, “My mom can be your mom too”. Tears and hugs wasn’t enough.
Just yesterday, I had a student in pre-K4 left to another school for the past 4 years but returned to my school this week in 3rd grade. At lunch her teacher told me the first thing she asked for was for me. So I surprise her by going to her PE class to see her. Another happy, tearful, hug occasion.
