Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything educational, write out a word and have them find as many words as possible.
Play floor tennis by marking a line on floor with tape, use a jar lid as puck and see who can get the closest to the line w/o going over.
Hand puppets
Hand games to learn to count
I have so many indoor activities.
Outdoor games are corn hole, swimming, playing in the water. If they are younger teach colors by putting balloons in a bucket and as they pull them out have them count and give colors.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping the parents by doing anything I can to make their lives easier. Bathing, making meals, all homework done and checked, laundry, dishes etc.
I do all this without being asked or told.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite thing about being a nanny is I get to teach them to swim and it's very rewarding when they trust you enough to allow that.
My friends will bring their children for me to teach them how to swim. For some reason it's an easy project for me. Potty training is another one of my gifts.
