I worked at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary's daycare center many years ago. I also cared for my special needs brother, 8 years my junior, as my single mother worked FT my entire childhood.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Singing, dancing, playing various sports/games, reading books and working with them on vocabulary/phonics etc. Going to the library, park etc, with approval, to enjoy the outside as weather permits.

Safely guiding and encouraging little ones to explore good things for increased learning, development and excitement. Love of learning starts early, and I want every child to reach their full potential.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked as a teacher's assistant when in school for Education degree. I worked with children with Down's syndrome, Autism, ADD/ADHD. I also worked with children at end-of-life, as an inpatient Hospice RN. Prior to the workforce, my brother, 8 years my junior, had many years of care from me as a child. He was diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Down's syndrome and Schizophrenia.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I loved when an infant I cared for giggled at peek-a-boo play and also the determined look he gave when rolling towards things he wanted to get into. Where there's a will, there's a way, I thought.
