More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Ive been a lifeguard for years so i have worked at multiple pools that were child friendly.
I have also worked as a daycare cooradinator with classes up to 15 students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy activities that help the kids learn. Whether that be swimming, bike riding, going on a hike, playing outside in the yard or even inside. One thing i enjoyed as a kid was learning how to bowl so i know theres always something to be learned at any age.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I thinks its important that they are safe. I make sure we have plans set out for different situations and if the kids are of age to understand them go over them with the child/ren.
Second to that is having a reelationship with the kid/s, i want the kid/s to be comfortable with me and see me as a friend not just the girl who comes over.

My experience with special needs children...

Having family with special needs has helped me most. At one waterpark i workeed at wee did have a time specifically taken out of the day for those with disablities to come swim and it was good training for us to learn what is helpful in making them comfortable, happy but also safe.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when i took one of my classes outside to learn more about the different types of trees and one of my students saved a leaf from outside and gave it to me because she was happy she learned about a new tree and that that tree was now her favorite tree. I still have that leaf with me to this day. Even though she probabley doesnt have any recollection of it but i will always cherish it.
