A little bit about me

Hi! I am a Filipino-American woman in her mid-twenties, and I am studying to be an elementary school teacher! I am currently instructing at after-school programs in my area, but I'd love to find work that is more personal and consistent. In high school I was an active member in the schools Buddies Club, which integrates special needs students with neurotypical students. I have also had jobs working at the San Diego Zoo (as a face painter!) and at Disneyland (as a photographer!). I believe in keeping kids active and artistic - and away from screens! If there's a park, let's play. If there's some paper, let's paint. I can teach about photography, as that is a huge interest point for me. I am also no stranger to tutoring school-material! I have also most recently worked with TK and Kindergarteners, so I am interested in motor skills and basic developmental learning! I am open to part time OR full time work, but I am currently enrolled in school (but all online classes this semester).
