I do not have a set experience with special needs children, other than being a leader for a child during the special Olympics. I don't feel comfortable working with them quite yet, due to my inexperience.

When I was volunteering at Allentown Elementary School, I was working with a class of kindergarteners around Christmas time. I was their "elf" sent from Santa, and near the end of the day, they didn't want me to leave and sent me back on my way with dozens of hand drawn pictures that I still have today :)
