Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 2 younger sisters in my family and grew up babysitting them most weekends. I also have tons of little kids in the family so I have lots of experience with children of all ages!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love bringing craft supplies, so water painting or making scrap book pages, etc. I love being outside and think it is crucial for developing children to have a few hours of outside time a day. In the hot summer months going to a splash pad, or even playing in the sprinklers at home is always a fun activity! In the colder months going to pumpkin patches, and playing in the snow is tons of fun with children.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a CNA for a school aged boy with autism and epilepsy. I helped with his feeding tube, managed his medications, and was given the opportunity to hangout with him and his siblings. I absolutely loved working for the family and learned so much from working for the boy.
