In high school, I took 3 years of childhood education/development courses and received my CPR/First Aid Certifications. I’ve worked with infants all the way up to the age of 17 for the last 5 years. I’m also the oldest of 5, so I was always the designated babysitter :)

Making sure the kids are happy, healthy, and learning something new everyday. It’s extremely rewarding being a nanny and seeing the children grow, and is even more fulfilling seeing them do activities that make them happy while they can create fun memories

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the kids i nannied for was 10, and he was obsessed with sushi! We went to the store and got all the ingredients, and started making the sushi - he was shocked at how perfectly the rolls turned out and said it was the best sushi he has ever had, and wanted to make homemade sushi everyday after that :) He still mentions it to me once in a while (I still go over occasionally, as I have a great relationship with the family), and although it’s messy, it’s SO worth seeing the smile on his face! :)
