Yes, in my previous job, I cared for two children, 7&5 years old. This job consisted me of pickups of the children from school, preparing their meals, entertaining their interest, cleaning up after them and their space, and most important making sure they feel in a safe and comfortable environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities i enjoy experiencing with children mostly consist of them trying to learn something new out of it, id love to consist games and activities where I can learn more about the children and where they can learn more about me and regular daily activities, outdoor activities consist more of the learning and journey experience, i would want for the children to express themselves in diffrent ways and experience new things that may interest them into knowing more, I also believe it’s great for children to be energetic and express their energy in a way thats fun and healthy for them!
My experience with special needs children...
My nephew suffers with autism and is the first in my family to experience it, dealing with this information i knew being a first time aunt was amazing but i knew it would be different and sometimes would come with many different obstacles, although my nephew is still young he is the most energetic i know, i try to balance that for him where he knows he’s okay, and is still comfortable and happy! caring for my nephew just a tad differently helped me to grow and become wiser when dealing with children!
