More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I recently had the opportunity to return to my elementary school to volunteer with my former 3rd grade teacher, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. Walking through the familiar hallways brought back so many memories, and I was excited to reconnect with the school community.
Being around the kids again reminded me how important it is to be a positive influence, especially for younger students. I loved interacting with them, offering guidance, and helping with classroom activities. It felt great to be an older role model and to show them that learning can be fun and fulfilling.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When I babysit, I love creating a fun and engaging environment where kids can be active, creative, and learn new things. Some of my favorite activities include going outdoors—whether it’s a trip to the park, a nature walk, or just playing games in the backyard. The fresh air and space for running around always bring out the best energy in the kids.
I also enjoy doing crafts with them. Whether it’s painting, drawing, or creating something out of simple materials, it’s great to see their creativity come to life. We often work together on fun projects, and it’s amazing to watch their imaginations run wild.
Puzzles are another favorite activity. I love sitting down with kids to work through puzzles, whether it’s a jigsaw puzzle or a fun brain teaser. It’s a great way to help them develop problem-solving skills while having fun.
Finally, cooking together is always a hit. Whether it’s baking cookies, making simple snacks, or preparing a meal, kids love to get hands-on in the kitchen.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their families. Creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where kids feel comfortable to express themselves, learn, and grow is key. It’s about being a reliable and caring role model, not just someone who looks after the kids, but someone who encourages their development, supports their interests, and helps them feel valued.
Additionally, effective communication with the parents is essential to ensure everyone is on the same page and working together to meet the children’s needs. Ultimately, being a nanny isn’t just about watching over the kids—it’s about being a consistent, loving presence in their lives while also offering guidance and nurturing their growth.

My experience with special needs children...
I have not necessarily had an experience with special needs, but I have been around children and I absolutely adore them
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when the parents of the kids I care for told me just how much their children loved spending time with me. It was such a heartwarming moment to hear that the kids not only enjoyed our time together but also felt safe, happy, and valued. Knowing that I was making a positive impact on their lives and creating an environment where they felt comfortable and excited to learn and play meant the world to me.
It’s those little moments—when you realize you’re not just providing care but also becoming a trusted part of their world—that make the job so fulfilling. That kind of feedback from the parents really affirmed for me that I’m doing something right and reminded me why I love what I do. It’s about building connections, fostering trust, and helping the kids grow while having fun along the way.
