More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently nanny for a 2-year-old and a 10-month-old, and I also work as a house manager/nanny for a family with four children ages 2–10. Along with providing attentive childcare, I help with laundry, meal prep, organizing, errands, school pick-ups, and keeping the household running smoothly. I’m also studying Elementary Education and plan to become a kindergarten teacher, so working with children is something I’m truly passionate about.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

love getting kids out of the house and staying active! Some of my favorite activities are going to the library, parks, splash pads, nature centers, story time, and children’s museums. At home, I enjoy crafts, sensory bins, baking, reading books, playing outside, and finding fun ways to learn through play. I try to limit screen time and keep kids engaged with hands-on activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I also know how important it is to support parents by keeping the household running smoothly, communicating well, and treating every child with patience and kindness.

My experience with special needs children...

In high school, I participated in Peer PE and Best Buddies, where I worked alongside students with special needs and helped create a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. Those experiences taught me patience, flexibility, and the importance of meeting every child where they are. As an Elementary Education major, I’ve also taken college coursework focused on supporting children with diverse learning needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of nannying is watching children become more confident and independent. Whether it’s seeing a toddler learn a new word, helping a child master a new skill, or hearing them excitedly tell me about their day, those little milestones make the job so rewarding.
