The most important part about being a nanny...

My first nanny job was for a close family friend & one time he brought his daughter (nine) to my house instead of me going to their house. I have a lot of craft supplies at my house so she was in craft heaven & really gravitated toward the glitter. One moment we were carefully sprinkling glitter, the next the cap just fell off & glitter was everywhere. We brainstormed ways to clean up the mess & tested them all - my ways for cleaning glitter were "certified boring", as she said. Most memorably, though, was that she knew the recipe for slime by heart & that slime was, in fact, the best solution for picking up the glitter.
