Motherhood is where the majority of my experience with children comes from. What better way to learn how to care about children? Besides my own children, my nieces, nephews, and friends children have all been left in my care from time to time.

I believe in being outside if the weather permits. There's so much to learn from nature and fresh air is so good for growing bodies.
Even being indoors and doing activities together, like baking cookies and stacking blocks, is a great way to learn. Life is full of learning opportunities no matter where you are. Those opportunities are even better when you can have some fun doing them!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is making sure a child knows that their feelings and thoughts are important, appreciated, and valued. Adults often times forget that children have feelings too. It's a big world and our little ones are full of big emotions and thoughts. As a nanny it is import that a child feels safe and comfortable with me to work through those feelings and navigate through their emotions.

At this moment, I do not have experience caring for children with special needs. However, if I am a match for you and your family I will be more than excited to care for and give special love and attention to your child! I will always be willing to learn what type of care is best for your child.
