Im Briana! I consider myself to be from Virginia, even though most of my childhood consisted of moving all over the country due to growing up in a military family. I have recently relocated to the Huntsville area to be closer to family that now resides in the area. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Horticulture through Colorado State
University’s online program. I love plants and all things nature. That being said, I love the outdoors! I enjoy mountain biking, kayaking and hiking. I have a genuine LOVE for animals- all types! They fascinate me! I have two amazing pups, Opal and Indie, that keep me busy with walks and cuddles. I enjoy meeting new people and prefer to surround myself with kind people and good energy!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to multiple nanny positions, I had a pretty impressive network of families that I regularly babysat for on weekends and evenings. The ages of the children I babysat ranged from 3 months- 7 years old. Additionally I was hired for a week- long, overnight camp in which I assisted with the daily care of 5 children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy getting outdoors with the children as much as possible, especially for nature walks. It’s great to learn and talk about all the different plants and animals we see on our walks
Regarding indoor activities, I love crafts! I truly appreciate the carefree creativity that children possess.. and I love crafting myself so it’s a win- win!

The most important part about being a nanny...

First and foremost, the safety of the children in my care is the most important aspect of nannying. In addition, providing a happy and loving environment for the children while their parents are away is also critical in my option!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve got a long list of amazing nanny moments but one of my favorites is the time one of my little girls randomly grabbed my face, looked me dead in the eyes, and said “I love you a lot, Bri” and then went right back to what she was doing. It was so cute and so genuine and assured me that I was doing my job well.
