on my 19 bday i had to work all day 6am-9pm and i didn’t get to celebrate with anyone bc i drive and 1:30min to work everyday, but my boss came home with cake and a candle and ice cream and they all sang happy birthday to me, in that moment i realized they were my 2nd family.
