Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I played volleyball in high school, so I would absolutely love to show your children a thing or two. That’s really as far as my athletic capabilities go, but I am always willing to learn. Painting is one of my favorite things to do with my sibling, because it gives them a sense of individuality, and not to mention more art for moms fridge.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the most important parts about being a nanny is safety. My mother was a single mother of two, her biggest fear was encountering a situation where a nanny would cause harm to my younger sister. It caused her a great deal of anxiety, and even until this day she works part time jobs to fit my siblings schedule. I want to bring ease to parents afraid to leave their children/child’s life in the hands of a stranger.

My experience with special needs children...

The only true experience I have with special needs is my younger cousin Billy. She is a beautiful, happy, and bright individual who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. Her disabilities include learning, and limited vision without glasses. Billy wants to be a singer one day, and I hope to see her accomplish that. I am more than willing to work with children with disabilities, I am young, but I am also patient and compassionate. All I may ask for is a little bit of help on the parents side, gaining their child’s trust as a friend.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was the nanny for 2 kids approximately a year ago: Emily (6) and Lucas (8). My favorite nanny moment that I could recall was the, nerf gun battle we held for about ten seconds before I slipped and fell harder than ever. They laughed and laughed, and it was all worth it.
