I’ve worked with children many times before when volunteering and I’ve also taught dance classes to little kids under 12! I’ve been the soup kitchens and been around and taking care of kids for a long time!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids happy and active with a mix of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Indoors, we enjoy arts and crafts, reading stories, playing educational games, and baking simple treats together. Outside, I like taking kids to the park, going on nature walks, playing sports, riding bikes, and having fun with water play or scavenger hunts. I’m all about making sure every day is full of learning, creativity, and smiles!

I have meaningful experience working with special needs children through my participation in a school club dedicated to supporting and helping them daily. In this role, I assisted with activities tailored to their individual needs, provided companionship, and helped create a welcoming and inclusive environment. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of adapting activities to make sure every child feels valued and included.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a shy little kid I cared for finally opened up and smiled after weeks of spending time together. We had been doing arts and crafts and reading stories every day and seeing that breakthrough made me realize how much trust and connection we had built. Moments like that remind me why I love being a nanny because I get to make a positive difference in a child’s life and help them feel safe and happy.
