The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe it’s about building trust, showing patience and kindness, and being someone they can look up to. It’s also important to encourage their growth emotionally, socially, and academically, while making sure they feel valued, heard, and cared for every single day.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children includes serving in Cougar Buddies at my school, where I worked closely with EC students by helping them with activities, supporting their needs, and simply spending time having fun together. This experience helped me build patience, understanding, and strong communication skills.
I also partnered with a boy with high functioning autism on a science project, where we built a volcano and presented it at the science fair. Through this, I learned how to adapt to different learning styles, encourage confidence, and create a positive, supportive environment where every child feels included and valued.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the simple, joyful ones, laughing with the kids and hearing the funny, unexpected things they say. I love being part of their growth, helping them learn new things, and seeing their faces light up over the smallest moments. Those little sparks of happiness and curiosity are what make caring for children so special to me.
