The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, loving, and stable environment where children feel secure, understood, and cared for. I believe trust is the foundation of great childcare, both with the children and their parents. It’s important to me to be dependable, patient, and consistent so children can feel comfortable and confident while they learn and grow. The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was with a child I cared for at the daycare who had recently been placed in foster care. I formed a very close bond with her, and every day she would get so excited to see me when she arrived. She would run up and greet me with a big smile, which always made my day. It was special to be someone she felt safe and comfortable with, and I always did my best to give her love, consistency, and support during a difficult time in her life. That experience really showed me how important patience, trust, and stability are in a child’s life, and it’s one of the reasons I am so passionate about working with children.
