A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Briley, and I am 18 years old. I am CPR certified and currently work at a daycare, where I get to do what I love most—working with children! I have always had a passion for caring for others and helping children learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment.

I am a very outgoing, patient, and dependable person who loves building connections with both children and their families. I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing crafts, playing games, reading stories, and finding creative ways to keep kids engaged and entertained.

I also love animals, so I am completely comfortable around pets and would be happy to help with them as well. Whether it’s helping with daily routines, preparing meals, assisting with homework, or simply providing a fun and caring atmosphere, I always strive to make a positive impact on the families I work with.

I look forward to meeting a wonderful family and becoming someone you can trust and rely on! 😊

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing educational games, and spending time outdoors with children. I love encouraging creativity through activities like drawing, painting, building, and imaginative play. I also enjoy baking simple treats, doing puzzles, playing board games, and helping with homework when needed. For younger children, I enjoy sensory activities, story time, and age-appropriate developmental play. My goal is always to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and make happy memories.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, loving, and stable environment where children feel secure, understood, and cared for. I believe trust is the foundation of great childcare, both with the children and their parents. It’s important to me to be dependable, patient, and consistent so children can feel comfortable and confident while they learn and grow. I also value building strong connections with each child and supporting their individual needs, personalities, and development in a positive and encouraging way.

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience working with children with special needs through both my personal and professional life. Growing up with a special needs sibling has given me over 10 years of firsthand experience providing support, understanding individual needs, and practicing patience and adaptability. I also have experience working with children with autism and other developmental differences. Through my daycare experience, I have learned how to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and understood. I am comfortable following specific routines, accommodating individual needs, and working closely with families to provide the best possible care for their children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was with a child I cared for at the daycare who had recently been placed in foster care. I formed a very close bond with her, and every day she would get so excited to see me when she arrived. She would run up and greet me with a big smile, which always made my day. It was special to be someone she felt safe and comfortable with, and I always did my best to give her love, consistency, and support during a difficult time in her life. That experience really showed me how important patience, trust, and stability are in a child’s life, and it’s one of the reasons I am so passionate about working with children.
