Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being able to let the kids mostly decide on what they’d like to do as long as it isn’t a risk to their safety, I feel as though it goes much smoother when the kids are having fun and being able to express themselves in what they want to do. It’s also a great way to learn about the child and find out what they like rather than make all the decisions myself and not be able to truly get to know the child I’m taking care of

Is being able to connect with the children you’re taking care of and take in to consideration what is best for them, what makes them happy, and what they want to do

My experience with special needs children...

I used to help the special needs children at my middle school for a while and I loved every second of it, the children themselves were amazing and very fun to be around
