A little bit about me

Hi wonderful families!

I’m Randi— a CACHE Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), Advanced NCS, Infant Sleep Specialist, Night Nanny, and experienced career Nanny with years of hands-on experience supporting families through the earliest (and often most exhausting!) stages of parenthood. I’m also CPR/First Aid certified and fully insured for your peace of mind.

In addition to private family work, I’ve served as a lead infant teacher in a daycare setting and bring a deep understanding of early developmental milestones, sleep shaping, feeding rhythms, and the gentle, responsive care that helps little ones thrive. While I’m comfortable with all age groups, newborns and infants are my true passion and specialty.

Whether you need overnight newborn support or daytime care, I’m here to help ease your load and care for your child like they were my own.

Let’s connect—I’d love to hear more about your family and how I can support you.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked as a career nanny for over 20+ years, providing care for children ranging from newborns to pre-teens. I also have experience as an infant lead teacher in a licensed daycare, where I cared for multiple babies at once and supported developmental milestones. In addition, I’ve worked as a Newborn Care Specialist and Night Nanny for families during the postpartum period—offering overnight support, sleep shaping, and guidance to new parents. My roles have included everything from bottle prep and sleep routines to toddler activities, transportation, and light household support.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

With infants, I love supporting early development through tummy time, sensory play, music and movement, storytime, and introducing baby sign language to encourage early communication. As they grow into toddlers and preschoolers, I enjoy arts and crafts, imaginative play, simple baking, singing songs, puzzles, and hands-on learning games. For outdoor fun, I love going on nature walks, playing on ybe playground, drawing with chalk, and playing with bubbles. I tailor activities to each child’s age and interests, focusing on playful learning, emotional connection, and joyful routines.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, respectful relationship with both the children and their parents. It’s about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and free to explore their world. A great nanny listens carefully, adapts to each child’s unique needs, and partners with parents to provide consistent care and positive guidance. Ultimately, being a nanny means being a reliable, steady presence who helps children grow confidently and happily while giving families peace of mind.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve had the joy of working with children from the day they were born through their toddler years and beyond. Being part of their early development and maintaining those lasting connections is truly meaningful to me — it’s more than a job; it’s a lifelong relationship.

Deloris H. - Seeking Work in Whitefish

Babysitter Available in Whitefish, MT: Deloris H.

I’m a second-year student at Yale University looking for a part-time summer nanny position through the end of August. I have experience caring for children ages 2–8 through both family childcare and volunteer work. For four years, I coached children ages 5–6 in track and field through Glacier High School’s Highlanders program, and I also volunteered at Edgerton elementary school teaching English to refugee children ages 5–8.

I would describe myself as a patient, reliable, and responsible. I also love creating a fun, engaging environment for kids. I encourage reading, outdoor activities, games, and creative play rather than screen time. I’m happy to help with homework, prepare meals and snacks, transport the kids to activities, and care for any pets. I have my driver’s license and reliable transportation. I am also available afternoons and evenings throughout the summer.
