My experience with special needs children...
AS a swim instructor at the YMCA, I taught kids with special needs from all spectrums. Teaching kids in the pool can be more difficult than caring for them at home. I have experience with attending to special needs kids patiently and assisting in whatever they may need. I have a family friend who I have been close to with special needs and have learned from him and the kids I have taught that I enjoy being there for the ones that need it the most.

I babysat and taught these two little girls how to swim. The sweetest moment was when they wanted to show me what they learned while I was gone. They were so proud of themselves and it was so heartwarming that they were so eager to show me.
